Great design takes less and gives more.

We're here to help make a better future for plastic waste.

Hi! We’re Brady and Angela, and in 2019 we left our jobs to start The Rogerie in our laundry room.

Why we do it: I was born with with an obsession for inventing and learning, and Angela a passion for spending time outdoors and connecting with nature. We both grew up around loving families, caring teachers, and supportive mentors who put work into fostering our creative abilities and technical disciplines. As we grew up and experienced the real world - the beauty, the wonder, the pain, and the struggle - we realized just how immeasurable a gift our upbringing was, and that the only way to honor that gift would be to give something back to our community; to hold ourselves to a higher standard and use our abilities for something good.

Why plastic pollution: Plastic pollution is only one of many challenges humanity faces as it evolves, but it’s a big one. Back in 2019, we were searching for a way to dispose of a pile of plastic packaging we accumulated while moving into our first home together, and discovered just how inefficient recycling is. As we learned more, we began to see a need for the unique mix of technical and creative skills we possess, and decided it was our opportunity to have an impact.

The Rogerie isn’t meant to be a brand. It’s a path to plastic sustainability where none exist. We aren’t executives streamlining an operation from behind a desk; we get our hands dirty every day developing technology, exploring new recycling methods, and expanding the boundaries of what plastic can do. We fail often, but we are committed to our goal. Angela and I have built our life around solving this problem, and with enough of us, we know it can be done.

We're on a mission to reshape the future of plastic waste, and we'd love for you to be part of it!

We use only recycled plastic because that’s simply the way it should be done.

Here are a few things we value…

Learning from the old ways, embracing the new.

There is more wisdom passed down from those before us than could ever possibly be understood by one person, and we recognize the importance of these roots. We don’t mind doing things by hand if it improves a products beauty, using too much material if it means a longer lifespan, or doing it the hard way if it increases sustainability. At the same time, embracing modern manufacturing - 3D printing - allows us to apply these principles to our designs in ways our ancestors could only have dreamed.

Awareness of our impact.

In our modern world of global disagreements and complex social issues, we’re brought to center by the Salish phrase nutsa maat, meaning one mind. This word encapsulates the idea of seeking consensus before taking an action that may affect those around us. Doing so forces us to communicate clearly, genuinely listen to the ideas and concerns of others, and focus on common ground rather than differentiators. In business as in life, we are all part of an ecosystem and responsible for our impact on it.

Going our own way.

Change doesn’t come from doing things the way others do. Change is difficult, change is risky, but change is necessary for growth. We aspire to always be willing to take chances, to go first, and explore the unknown. Our business serves a purpose more important than itself, and it is our hope that it will forever defer to the greater good of our community and the pursuit of passion.

Together, we can make a sustainable future.

Meet Brady & Angela

Brady and Angela, the founders of The Rogerie, are a dynamic duo who took a bold leap and started the company in their small rental home just weeks after their wedding in the spring of 2019. Their shared passion for design and engineering, coupled with their commitment to sustainability, led them to create an entirely new way of producing everyday products with minimal waste. Fueled by their desire to make a meaningful difference, they set out to achieve complete sustainability throughout a product's entire lifecycle - a goal that few other companies have achieved before.
